CONFERENCE LODGING: <\/strong><\/span> CONFERENCE REGISTRATION:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Once open, you may register using the “Donate” portal under “Conference Registration” in the left margin of this page or on the homepage<\/strong>. All conference attendees, including presenters, are required to register for the conference (Brooks Forum panelists and Bradford-Delaney Prize winner exempted).<\/p>\n As a non-profit (501c-3) organization, tax-deductible donations from members are essential to the society’s mission and are strongly encouraged. You must\u00a0call\u00a0<\/strong>(online booking does not accept the code) with\u00a0rate code<\/strong>\u00a0STGT<\/strong>\u00a0for our room blocks.\u00a0The\u00a0Holbrook<\/a>\u00a0is across the street from the\u00a0Danville Museum<\/a>\u00a0(where the conference will be held) and\u00a0The Bee<\/a>\u00a0is about a 10-12 minute walk.\u00a0The Bee is where we will have the Friday night reception as it has a suite with a kitchen and rooftop overlooking Danville.\u00a0The Bee and\u00a0Holbrook\u00a0have shuttles that run between the hotels and to the\u00a0Schoolfield\u00a0<\/a>area near\u00a0Caesars Virginia<\/a>\u00a0and the new hotel\u00a0The Laurel\u00a0<\/a>if you want to explore (including a Gordon Ramsey Restaurant!).\u00a0Both hotels<\/a>\u00a0have good restaurants and coffee shops, etc. within walking distance, too. Please note\u00a0you must call for the STGT code (the code does not work online)<\/strong>, so the staff will guide you through multiple room options:<\/p>\n\n
